The partnership brings together Ahotu’s global race discovery platform with URUNN, the world-class running coach co-founded by four-time Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah, Manchester Marathon champion Adam Clarke, and Team GB’s own Charlotte Purdue.

Ahotu, one of the world’s leading endurance race discovery platforms, has partnered with URUNN to create a more connected journey from finding a race to getting ready for the start line.

Co-founded by Sir Mo Farah, Adam Clarke, and Charlotte Purdue, URUNN brings genuine elite-level running experience into a new generation of coaching. URUNN creates a personalised plan based on each individual runner’s pace, ability and race goal – flexible and adaptable around real life.

Through the new partnership, runners discovering events on Ahotu can connect their chosen race directly with URUNN and start preparing for it with a training plan built around that specific goal.

From inspiration to finish line

Finding a race is often the moment when running becomes something more tangible. A 10K in your home city, a first marathon or a trail race on the other side of the world gives every training session a purpose.

Ahotu helps runners discover those experiences around the world. URUNN helps them get ready for them.

“Races are one of the strongest motivators in sport. Once you’ve chosen an event and committed to it, suddenly every training session has a purpose,” said Charlotte Melchert, Founder and CEO of Ahotu. “What really stood out to us about URUNN is that it’s built by people who genuinely live and breathe the sport. Adam, Mo, Charlotte and the entire team bring an extraordinary passion for running and an infectious enthusiasm for helping more people enjoy the sport and achieve their goals.”

Unlike traditional training plans, URUNN’s coaching evolves as the runner does. URUNN’s programming is adaptable, and truly flexible around real life. The platform combines leading technology with elite-level running expertise, automatically adjusting training based on progress, performance and changing schedules, to enhance performance for every runner.

“Some of the best training knowledge in the world has traditionally been available to elite athletes. With URUNN, we want to take those insights and make them accessible and useful to every runner – helping people train smarter, enjoy their running and work towards their goals in a sustainable way,” said Adam Clarke, co-founder of URUNN and Manchester Marathon winner. “I’ve also travelled around the world to take part in races myself, so I know how powerful it is to have an event on the horizon. A race gives your training purpose and can take you to places and experiences you might never otherwise discover. That’s why partnering with Ahotu feels like such a natural fit for what we’re trying to achieve.”

The partnership also creates new opportunities for race organizers on Ahotu. Organizers can offer participants an added-value training experience connected directly to their event, extending their relationship with runners beyond registration and throughout the months of preparation leading up to race day.

For Ahotu, the partnership is another step towards connecting the different parts of the endurance journey. With more than one million monthly visitors and tens of thousands of races around the world, Ahotu is expanding beyond race discovery to build an ecosystem that helps athletes find their next challenge, prepare for it and ultimately experience more of the sport they love.

The Ahotu and URUNN integration is available now, helping runners turn the moment of finding their next race into the first step towards reaching the finish line.
